Following the success of 2022’s “The Seasons,” Creative City Project and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra are creating a new collaboration. This concert features the music of French composer, Camille Saint-Saëns’, “The Carnival of the Animals.” Alongside the orchestral ensemble, Creative City Project curates a fantastical environment with high-energy circus performances and animal characters.

Leading the cast of characters is the Lion. The Lion’s monologues will guide the audience throughout the evening, moving each orchestral movement forward with insights on The Carnival’s unique invitation to live fully.

The Lion is a proud, wise soul with answers the Lion knows are better earned than given. The Lion’s strength is enduring and intuition is exact. The Lion lives to protect, explore and perform.

We’re looking for a strong actor to carry the show as The Lion; a performer who can truly command the house.
